Tottenham compete with Fulham for Real Zaragoza keeper Roberto Jiminez

Spanish goalkeeper Roberto Jiminez is interesting Tottenham.

The Sun says Spurs are ready to sign Jiminez as understudy to Brad Friedel.

With Heurelho Gomes likely to move on in January and Carlo Cudicini out of favour, Spurs have spent the last month tracking Jiminez's successful spell at Real Zaragoza.

Fulham are also interested in the stopper, 25.
