Tottenham coaches help Canadian youth soccer

Tottenham development coaches Paul Griffiths, Phil Heseltine and Luke Jones led a two-week Player Development Programme in Canada's National Capital, Ottawa, and for the third year running there has been a great turnout.

"We were very excited to have the Spurs coaches return to Ottawa for another summer," said Ottawa Fury Owner and CEO John Pugh to the Spurs website. "Our relationship with Spurs has grown tremendously over the past three years, and their presence here in Ottawa always provides local players with the opportunity to learn from one of the top Premier League clubs. The response from both players and parents has been excellent."

Several players participating in the camp this summer were returning for the third time, and their development from year-to-year has been highly visible.

This progress is thanks to the elements that they have learned from these camps, and more importantly from the player assessments.
