Tottenham coach Tim Sherwood has gone cold on the Blackburn Rovers job.

The People says Sherwood was Blackburn's first choice even before Steve Kean quit, but Spurs supremo Daniel Levy is fighting tooth and nail to keep his assistant coach at White Hart Lane.

And Sherwood himself is unconvinced that a drop to the Championship is a wise career move.
