Tottenham coach Ramos delighted with team's progress

Tottenham Hotspur boss Juande Ramos believes his side have made progress since he took over at White Hart Lane last October.

Ramos has impressed since his arrival in North London, guiding Spurs from 18th to 11th in the table and losing just five of his 24 games in charge.

Ramos is pleased with his side's progression, but is determined to see further evidence of their improvement between now and the end of the season.

"To play against Manchester United, who are at the top of their game in Europe and at the top of the league table, is very difficult," he told the club's official website.

"We've played two matches against them recently - one we lost but played well and another that we drew but had possibilities of securing a victory.

"We're satisfied with the progress we've made but we're not going to settle for that, we want to continue to improve.

"The team has a lot of possibilities with cup competitions coming up as well and these games and results are good for us as it proves we can compete with the best."
