Tottenham coach Les Ferdinand is delighted for Demba Ba over his Newcastle United hat-trick last weekend.
Sir Les - who will be pulling on his boots again on October 9 at Kingston Park for the Entertainers' rematch with Liverpool - bagged three against Wimbledon in 1995 as the Londoners were beaten 6-1 at St James' Park.
Ferdinand told the Evening Chronicle: "It's a great feeling.
"To pull on the black-and-white shirt and play in front of an adoring public like that was great for me - to get a hat-trick is even better.
"I played alongside Alan Shearer in my last season for the club and that was a massive buzz for me.
"Demba is welcome in that club too, because it means Newcastle are finding the net."
