Tottenham are on the verge of completing the permanent signing of Emmanuel Adebayor from Manchester City.
Sky Sports suggests that Spurs and City have agreed a fee for the Togo striker who scored 17 goals whilst on loan at White Hart Lane last season.
It was apparent earlier this summer that the former Arsenal man was set to make North London his permanent home again but a deal could not be agreed.
However, recent reports say that Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is now very close to finalising a deal for Adebayor as he looks to strengthen his attacking stocks.
