Tottenham chief Baldini in Spain to close deal for Valencia's Soldado

Tottenham technical director Franco Baldini flew to Spain yesterday to close a deal with Valencia for Roberto Soldado.

With Liverpool making their interest known, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy sent Baldini to Spain yesterday to negotiate terms with Los Che officials over the striker, says AS.

Valencia are demanding €30 million for Soldado, though Levy hopes to do business for closer to €25 million.
