Tottenham and Chelsea are watching Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang.

The Daily Mail says a number of clubs have watched Obiang, who is also known as Perico, including Rafa Benitez's Chelsea and Spurs.

A stumbling block for the Premier League sides to overcome is the fact that the Spanish-born midfielder's agent has cooled talks of Obiang's exit, and claimed that the youngster is happy at Sampdoria.
