Tottenham are chasing Hajduk Split's teenage sensation Nikola Vlasic.
Spurs hope to do business for £3 million over Vlasic, who has been likened to Real Madrid star Luka Modric.
Vlasic is just 16 but already in the Hajduk side and being chased by several major clubs. However, Spurs - where the REAL Luka Modric spent four years from 2008 - want to step in first and sign him immediately.
The youngster is rated at £6m by Hajduk, but Spurs hope to agree a figure quickly - as they know how much they made selling Modric on to Real Madrid two years go.
Vlasic has also been closely tracked by Chelsea and Real Madrid, who were both at Hajduk's Europe League game against Irish side Dundalk last week.
