Tottenham face competition from Atletico Madrid for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.

Spurs officials have been in talks with Inter president Giovanni Luigi this week over Damiao, with the Brazilian powerbroker in London for the Champions League final.

Damiao is a favourite of Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and manager Andre Villas-Boas.

However, the goal posts could soon be moved by Luigi - again - with Atletico eyeing the striker as a replacement for Radamel Falcao.

The Madrid giants will have the money to compete with Spurs for Damiao should they sell their Colombian star to AS Monaco this week.
