Tottenham are closing a deal for Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen.
The Daily Mirror says chairman Daniel Levy is pressing on with the club's summer transfer plans with a deal for £7million Ajax captain Vertonghen imminent.
The Belgium international has been pushing Ajax to drop their price for him since Spurs made their interest known.
