Tottenham will not consider selling Gareth Bale to a Premier League rival.
The Daily Express says chairman Daniel Levy will not sell £60 million Tottenham superstar Bale to another Premier League club.
Levy has vowed never again to sell a star player to one of Spurs' Premier League rivals after the backlash following the transfer of striker Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United for £30m in 2008.
A White Hart Lane source said: "Daniel has made it clear ever since the Berbatov deal that he will never again sell a major asset to another English club. After that deal the feeling was, 'What is the point - why bother bringing these players on if we are just going to sell them?'"
