Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is back in London today for talks with Andre Villas-Boas' representatives.
The Daily Express says Villas Boas now leads the line-up of candidates being considered to lead chairman Levy's men.
Spurs have reportedly opened discussions with Villas Boas.
Levy is to return to London today to take charge of the recruitment process after he sacked Harry Redknapp following weeks of growing tensions.
Villas-Boas's agent was in the capital over the weekend to initiate talks.
