Tottenham chairman Levy rejects Blackburn approach for Sherwood

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has rejected an approach from Blackburn Rovers for coach Tim Sherwood.

The Daily Mail says Levy, who will speak to Sherwood about his future this week, does not want him to quit the club.

Blackburn are ready to offer Sherwood, who captained the club to the 1995 Premiership title, the job of reviving their fortunes following Steve Kean's resignation.
