Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is ready to release £40 million to coach Juande Ramos for the summer market.
The Spaniard's thoughts have already turned to making it a trophy double for Spurs this season by winning the UEFA Cup. If he is successful, that would be a third triumph in succession in the competition for the former Sevilla manager.
But far from limiting his focus to this campaign, Ramos is already plotting a close-season recruitment drive which will see Spurs capable of challenging the top flight's big four.
