Tottenham have cancelled the contract of defender Leigh Mills.

The 21-year-old joined Spurs from Swindon in July 2004 and was a member of the club's title-winning reserve side in 2006.

However, he has failed to break into the first-team squad at White Hart Lane and spent the first half of this season on loan at League Two side Gillingham, making eight appearance and scoring one goal.
