Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to push for Montpellier forward Olivier Giroud.
Redknapp has confirmed his interest in Giroud this week.
The London Evening Standard says there is a clause in Giroud's contract which means that he could be signed for £10million at the end of the season, although that figure could rise depending on his performances for his country at this summer's European Championship.
Giroud scored his first goal for his country in the recent friendly victory in Germany, which is also a destination that interests the player, and Bayern Munich are thought to be monitoring his situation.
