Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka is set to join West Ham United.

The Mirror says Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is ready to sell Corluka to West Ham in a £1.5million deal - to start raising the funds he needs for signings.

Talks were taking place on Thursday night to rush the Croatian defender's move to the Championship leaders through.

Corluka is out of favour at White Hart Lane and needs convincing about the switch, but Redknapp is keen for him to go at the start of a mini clear-out.
