Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is chasing Real Madrid fullback Fabio Coentrao.

The Daily Star Sunday says AVB wants the Real Madrid left-back to replace Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

In fact, Villas-Boas has wanted Portugal's Coentrao, 25, ever since taking over from Harry Redknapp last summer.

But Levy is not convinced Spurs need to pay £15million for Villas-Boas' compatriot.

The word in Spain is that Real would sell him, as they have another highly-regarded left-back in Brazil's Marcelo.
