Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has told Jermain Defoe to forget about a move away.
The England striker was keen to quit White Hart Lane this summer after falling out of favour with axed manager Harry Redknapp towards the end of last season, says the Daily Mail.
But Villas-Boas will block any attempts by him to leave ahead of the new season.
