Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas insists he's been delighted with the form of Emmanuel Adebayor.

Adebayor has been tipped to be sold in the summer.

But AVB says: "His improved form is about greater self-belief from the player than anything else.

"I haven't done anything in particular.

"His link-up game has improved tremendously and he has been much more involved in the build-up of play. He has assisted and created so much this season, which has allowed other players to flourish.

"Even though he hasn't scored many goals, we can see that Bale and Lennon have been outstanding this season and some of that is probably due to Ade raising his game in terms of link-up play. Now, he has found his goalscoring touch again and this gives him a little more confidence."
