Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says it's wrong to compare Arsenal whiz Jack Wilshere with Paul Gascoigne.
In his column for The Sun, Redknapp wrote: "Gazza was a one-off who put smiles on faces whenever he played and it's so unfair on Wilshere to start comparing him to one of the game's best-ever creative midfielders.
"Wilshere, too, has the ability to become a one-off - a special talent who is already an established part of the Arsenal squad at just 18.
"His manager, Arsene Wenger, will know there is so much that can go wrong as you try to bring players through from signing as a schoolboy to the first team. But Wilshere strikes me as a young man who has his feet on the ground.
"So many young players have their heads in the clouds and a lot of it is down to clubs who give them too much money, along with contracts that are just too long.
"And, because agents are in tow, they don't have to fight for it."
