Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits Jermain Defoe could be available for the derby against Arsenal.
It cannot come soon enough as this was an opportunity missed to close the gap on those above them before tonight's matches.
"We are short of our goalscorer, Pav came off at half-time with a knock on his back, Peter Crouch came on and does what he does - knocked one down for Rafa to score," said Redknapp.
"Without the little fella we're not overloaded with goals. That's the problem but we're making chances."
