Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is chasing Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.

The Sun says Spurs were hoping to offer £10million for the Manchester City winger, who joined from Chelsea in the summer.

But Wright-Phillips' short cameo for the Blues in the 4-0 win over Portsmouth in August means he has already played for two clubs this term.

Spurs would be the third, which is banned under FIFA rules. Boss Harry Redknapp will now move in the summer, putting Aaron Lennon's future in doubt.
