Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp feels fullback Kyle Walker can be something special.

Redknapp has been quick to single out the 21-year-old as a star of the future but insists he does need to improve parts of his game.

"He's a great lad who wants to learn and certainly has all the attributes to become a great right-back," He told the club's website. "He's a great athlete, lightning quick and strong.

"He's still learning the game, there are still little bits and pieces defensively he can improve on but he's only a young lad and he will improve.

"His pace is frightening and he does a great job for us both offensively and defensively. We've spoken about a few defensive things he needs to work on, but he will do that."
