Redknapp does not believe he should be judged on whether or not Spurs hang on to fourth place and qualify for the Champions League.
“It’s up to the chairman,” said Redknapp, whose contract has a year to run.
“I don’t go running to him asking for a new contract. What will be, will be.
“I’ll see what happens in the next few weeks and what the chairman has to say. If he wants to talk to me about a new contract, great.
"If he doesn’t, he doesn’t. I’ve got no thoughts about moving anywhere else.
