Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp took no joy leaving Jermain Defoe on the bench for victory at Blackburn Rovers.

Redknapp admitted it was a tough decision to leave Defoe on the bench again.

"It was a difficult because Jermain's been in great form," he told the Spurs website.

"I've got Rafa (van der Vaart) and Jermain, both outstanding players. Rafa's in the team and five goals in four games, you can't argue with that."
