Tottenham boss Redknapp scoffs at Taarabt Barcelona, Real Madrid claims
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has mocked Adel Taarabt after his disparaging interview this week.
The midfielder is currently on loan at QPR, but claims he had an offer from Arsenal which he should have accepted.
Taarabt also claimed he would not be returning to White Hart Lane when his loan spell ends.
But Redknapp said: "He said that Barcelona and Real Madrid are coming in for him. That is where he sees himself going next year.
"Barcelona have not been on the phone today and nor have Real Madrid. When they ring us, we are going to ask a lot of money for him.
"He said that he should have gone to Arsenal which is not a clever thing to say when you are playing for Tottenham. He will come back next season unless Barcelona or Real pick up the phone."

taarabt is a great player and has the potential to do great things but the spurs coach is blind and after this player is sold and flourishes spurs are going to regret not giving him a chance ....if he does get sold first game he plays against spurs he will hit a brace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For 2 years i've wondered why we were wasting the talents of adel.
Now i know the answer.
A filthy attitude & lack of team spirit has let this gifted kid down.
There's no place in any team for an attitude like yours Adel.
And that's a pity,
because us Spurs fans have rooted for you to be given a chance,
ever since you came on against West-Spam & changed the game,
that we eventually won 4-3 at Upton-Park...
He is a championship player at best! Unless Barca and Real are looking for boot cleaners
