Tottenham defender Jonathan Woodgate has suffered a fresh injury setback.
The Sun says the jinxed defender, 31, who is trying to win a new deal at Spurs, limped off during a friendly against Barnet with a calf problem.
It rules him out of next week's Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid and could spell an end to his Spurs career that has seen him make just 65 appearances since joining three years ago.
Woody's contract is up in the summer and boss Harry Redknapp pledged to offer him a new 'pay as you play' deal if he could prove his fitness.
Redknapp said: "It's not good news - a real blow to him and the club.
"He had been training well recently and I was hoping to feature him against Real next week.
He'll still travel with us as part of the squad. Real is his old club and this match means so much to him."
