Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he wants Roman Pavlyuchenko to improve his English - quickly.

"You've always got his interpreter running around the training ground," quipped the Tottenham manager.

"Sometimes you pass the ball through the middle and the interpreter chases it!

"It's difficult and speaking the language would make a difference.

"Technically he's a top-class player. I just think at times it's getting that extra bit of work out of him."
