Tottenham winger David Bentley is set to be sold in January.

The Daily Express says Bentley looks set to leave the club next month after a blazing row with manager Harry Redknapp.

Tottenham took on Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic - managed by one of Redknapp's old West Ham heroes Julian Dicks - at their Chigwell training ground, but Bentley's antics during a 5-2 win infuriated Redknapp.

Although a Tottenham spokesman denied there had been any rift at the game, our source said: "Bentley was taking the mickey the whole game, just back-heeling or toe-punting the ball whenever it came to him.

"Harry asked Bentley what he was doing and they had a big verbal ruck, then Redknapp told him he was getting rid of him in January."
