Tottenham boss Redknapp: Modric in same class as Liverpool stars Torres, Gerrard
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp rates Luka Modric in the same class of Liverpool stars Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard.
Redknapp rates the Reds pair the key to Liverpool's top four hopes this season.
He said: "I just think Gerrard is incredible and Torres is one of the best centre-forwards in the world.
"Not too many teams have got two world-class players. I'm talking about the very, very best players. If you look at Arsenal, how many world-class players? Cesc Fabregas, maybe Robin Van Persie when he is fit.
"I think we have Modric, though it's difficult for me to say because they are my players. We have got some terrific players. Gerrard and Torres would probably fit in your team if you were picking your world team."

Different position, Different type of player...
Torres is a class striker, the only one better than Defoe in the Premiership !!!
i remember liverpool were linked with him in the summer of 2008 before you guyz bought him and he said good things about lfc too. we shoud have signed him. good player.
hes good but not as good as gerrard n torres no way from a spurs fan
