Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is keen to sign Ajax captain Jan Vertonghen.
The Belgium defender was watched by Redknapp personally at Manchester United last week.
Vertonghen has welcomed Redknapp's interest and would jump at the chance of joining Spurs.
