Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is having to reject commercial offers because of delays over an England offer.

The Daily Mail says a big confectionery brand wanted Redknapp to front a lucrative TV advertising campaign around Euro 2012. But the Spurs manager, left in limbo over the FA's intentions like everyone else outside Club England's gang of four, is not able to take up the offer during the current uncertainty.

The deal was from a rival of Mars, who are one of the FA sponsors. And that would lead to an embarrassing conflict for the FA if Redknapp is eventually named as the next England manager as everyone still expects.
