Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp would love to bring LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham back to England.

Beckham, who has thrashed out a deal that will see him involved with both AC Milan and Los Angeles Galaxy over the next year, is playing some of his best football for years.

"I'm a massive fan of Beckham," said Redknapp. "He's a fantastic footballer and a great role model. I would take him on loan for sure."

Former Manchester United star Beckham, 33, has previously admitted he would find it difficult playing for another English club.

Redknapp said in the Sunday Mirror: "He's in great nick and still arguably one of the best crossers of the ball in the game.

"I think any club would take a look at him. He would be a fantastic loan signing."
