Tottenham boss Redknapp keen to sign matchwinner Gudjohnsen permanently

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says he wants to sign permanently on-loan AS Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen.
The Icelander was superb in victory at Stoke City.
Gudjohnsen, on loan from Monaco until the end of the season, scored Spurs' opener then played a superb dummy to tee up the winner for Niko Kranjcar after Matthew Etherington had equalised from the penalty spot.
Redknapp said: "I want to keep him here next year. He's a real top player and he's got fantastic ability. With Jermain Defoe out injured he has got a big part to play.
"The chairman did the deal for him and I don't know the details but we are certainly interested. The rest of the lads like him and they really love playing with him."

kep gud and pav, get rid of keane for good, get rid of crouch, jenas, king who is always injured, and start getting stronger players!
Stats don't tell all. The poor guy has got few chances since he came on loan.
He reminds me a lot of Teddy Sherringham. The dummy he played yesterday against Stoke showed great awareness. It's the kind of thing that Berbatov would have done and a 'true' footballing brain from a man of great intelligence (did you see his excellent TV interview after the game?).
Harry, of course, is the great player motivator. Also - he's as shallow as sh1t. Wouldn't surprise me if he never played again!.
Yes - i'd like him here next season. The chances are that Pav's agent will encourage him to leave , Keane has not got his heart at WHL anymore and Crouch's target man knock down approach was never going to win over the Spurs faithful.
he plays well 1 of 10 matches, www.trophymanager.com/index.php?ref=22924
