Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits it was either Luka Modric or Adel Taarabt while the QPR midfielder was at Spurs.

Redknapp reluctantly allowed the Moroccan attacking midfielder, 22, to join Queens Park Rangers for £1million because he couldn't find him a place in his side, with Modric his key man in midfield.

Redknapp said: "Adel and Luka didn't play very often together, it was hard to get them together.

"But Taarabt has unbelievable ability, just unbelievable, although I think this year he has found it a bit harder."
