Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has dismissed claims that Wolves are a dirty team.
McCarthy's men come to White Hart Lane with a growing reputation for throwing their weight around after collecting 13 bookings and a red card in their last two games alone.
Redknapp said: "I expect Wolves to be hard and aggressive, as Mick McCarthy's team always are, but I haven't got a problem with the way they play.
"They did the 'double' over us last season, they beat us fair and square. They work hard, but that's what they are paid to do, and we will need to pass the ball quickly, with plenty of movement, to open them up.
"Wolves are competitive, but I've seen nothing about them which is unfair. They will get amongst us, no doubt, but they are entitled to do that. Having said that, after tomorrow, I might feel a bit differently about them!"
