Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp feels he's nailed the reasons for him missing the England job.

Although the Tottenham chief was the people's favourite for the Three Lions hotseat, Redknapp admits he would have never fitted the mould.

He said: "I'm not really one for being careful about every word I say. If you're going to sit down and keep talking a load of cobblers, what's the point?

"I get aggravation from people now saying, 'You shouldn't have said that'.

"Well, I'm sorry... don't put me in front of the cameras if you don't want me to say something I want to say.

"If you ask me a question, I'll tell you what I think. Simple."
