Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp would have no problem with Emmanuel Adebayor celebrating scoring against Arsenal on Sunday.
Adebayor infuriated Arsenal fans in his first game against them following his £25million move to Manchester City in 2009 by running the length of the pitch after his goal, which put City 3-1 up, and sliding on his knees in front of the travelling support.
The Togo international was fined £25,000 for his goal celebration but Redknapp is not concerned about a repeat of the controversy at White Hart Lane this weekend.
The Spurs manager said: "I've never spoken to him about that [celebration]. I hope he does score a couple of goals, I hope he slides on his knees and celebrates. I don't care really, to be honest, as long as he scores.
"I'm sure he's going to get plenty of abuse come the weekend but he just has got to get on with his game - he can't react to that. I'm sure he wouldn't do that again, though. He has too much respect for Arsenal."
