Tottenham boss Redknapp: I don’t want to sell Pavlyuchenko

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp insists he wants striker Roman Pavlyuchenko to stay.

The former Spartak Moscow ace has failed to hold down regular football in North London and has been linked with Roma of late.

"We've got a strong squad - and we've got Luka Modric to come back. There's more than enough strength in depth," explained Redknapp.

"I don't want to sell Roman Pavlyuchenko. Technically he's a fantastic talent but he keeps saying he wants to go.

"He's got great ability but he wants to play regularly but it's been difficult with (Jermain) Defoe, (Peter) Crouch and (Robbie) Keane all doing well. It's unlucky for him."

He likes a drop of Smirnoff...who the feck is Berbatov...Pavlachenko, Totenham's number 9...la la la la la la la la la la la...

Keane doing well, he score 4 goals in one game against a week team! Lets see him do something against a good team. He did nothing for Liverpool and dumped back at Tottenham. Send him to the scottish league

Use Keane and Pav in the cup. see how well they link up together as it's obvious the best mix at the moment is Defoe and Crouchy! Let both of them try to stake their claim for a first team spot!
