Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes Tom Huddlestone must come out of his shell if he is to fulfil his potential.
"He is an unbelievable passer with both feet and he needs to take the game by the scruff of the neck more,' said Redknapp. 'Sometimes he has to boss a game more. He is like a quarter-back. He can deliver a pass on a six-pence from 40 yards - left foot, right foot, he can put people in. He has the talent to do that.
'But he has to keep getting the ball and sometimes he does not demand the ball enough. I said to him this morning that he has to demand the ball and get at people. If they don't give it to him, he has to let them know and give them a b********g: "Give me the ball, I am a better passer than you, give me the ball. Let me play." That is how he should be more.
'He is a quiet boy but he has so much talent. It is hard to get that if it is not your personality. You are asking people the way to change the way they are and it is hard to change. Some people are very quiet. But he could come out more and realise what he has to offer then he has everything to be a top player.
'He has the fantastic playing ability like (Glenn) Hoddle - spray the ball all over the park. If he is as good as Glenn, he will be a great player as Glenn was fantastic.'
