Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has branded Tom Huddlestone "amazing" after his winner against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto provided the assist, rolling the ball square for Huddlestone to thunder a 25-yarder right into the top corner. It was unstoppable.

"It's a typical Tom strike," Redknapp told the Spurs website. "He's the cleanest striker of a ball you could wish to see, left or right foot.

"I spoke to him a year ago and said 'where are you most comfortable, left or right foot?' and he said 'either'.

"He genuinely doesn't know because both feel the same to him, he doesn't favour one to the other and that's a great position to be in as a footballer.

"It means he can play off both sides, hit 40-yard passes with left or right foot and it's difficult to close someone down when they can do that.

"He's an amazing player and I really feel he's come on this year. That strike was top, top class, a fantastic goal."
