Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has no problem with linesman Mike Cairns after his struggles in defeat to Chelsea.
Cairns allowed Chelsea's equaliser on Saturday even though replays showed the ball had not crossed the line. Spurs are at home to Blackpool this Saturday.
Redknapp told The Sun: "I'd be more than happy if Mike's name is on the officials' list for that match. Sure, he made a mistake but how is he supposed to see what's going on from where he was positioned?
"He's done his best and it's one of those things. If he's working at our next match, great."
Redknapp believes football needs to take a lesson from other sports to avoid future controversy.
He added: "It's almost as if football is the only major sport that doesn't want to embrace technology."
