Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to buy a new goalkeeper from the Championship.
The Mirror says Heurelho Gomes had to have a pain-killing injection at half-time during Tuesday's win over Fulham after a painful collision with Bobby Zamora.
Gomes will be fit for Saturday's trip to Birmingham but that will not stop Spurs boss Redknapp from going for a new back-up keeper before the January window shuts.
Redknapp has got Coventry's Kieren Westwood, Watford keeper Scott Loach and Peterborough's Joe Lewis on his radar. They are also keeping tabs on Newcastle's Fraser Forster, 21, currently on loan at League One leaders Norwich.
