Tottenham boss Redknapp hands Ferdinand, Sherwood iPads to follow Mourinho example

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is taking a leaf out of Jose Mourinho's book to get an edge in games this season.

The People says a new law prohibits managers from having access to instant replays, with TV screens banned from the dugout as referees and assistants were getting too much grief over marginal decisions.

But crafty Mourinho found a way around the rule by arming Real Madrid aides with a laptop so they could watch live internet footage while in the stands.

They would then signal to the Special One if a decision warranted a rant.

Redknapp spotted what they were up to during his Spurs side's Champions League quarter-final with Real.

Now top lieutenants Les Ferdinand and Tim Sherwood will be handed iPads and given the same instruction.
