Tottenham boss Redknapp gives youngsters a go in Europa League opener

Harry Redknapp will deploy a relatively young line-up for tonight's Europa League group stage opener against Greek club PAOK.

Spurs and PAOK meet in Thessaloniki in Group A in about 35 minutes' time and the visitors will go in with a few youngsters in the ranks.

21-year old midfielder Jake Livermore, 20-year old Andros Townsend, teenagers Harry Kane and Tommy Carroll, loan signing Iago Falque and outcast Giovani dos Santos have all been handed starts by Redknapp.

Joining them on the Toumba Stadium pitch will be Carlo Cudicini in goals, along with more experienced players Vedran Corluka, Sebastien Bassong, Kyle Walker and Roman Pavlyuchenko.

Heurelho Gomes will sit on the bench again whilst Redknapp's remainder of substitutes are all from the reserves.
