Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits a deal for Lyon striker Fred is on-hold.

Redknapp was scheduled to meet Fred before the 3-1 win over Stoke at White Hart Lane which earned his side their first Premier League victory in over a month.

"He was supposed to come today but didn't turn up so I wouldn't bet on him coming tomorrow," said Redknapp. "I don't know what happened, the plan was for me to meet him and have a chat with him.

"He's out of contract in the summer so I think they are asking for a small fee."
