Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits Manchester United counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson would love to sign his star midfielder Luka Modric. Spurs and Modric entertain United today at White Hart Lane.
Redknapp revealed: "I am lucky I have the likes of Luka Modric here.
"He is fantastic and unbelievable to manage. He just loves playing football.
"He works hard every day and you don't have to worry about him. They have a great player, too, in Rooney when he is back to his best - but Modric is top-drawer.
"Sir Alex would love him but he isn't going anywhere. We want to keep him here and build a team round Luka.
"He has played in that central position for 15 months or so. He has everything. He could play in any team in the world but we want him here.
"This game has all the makings of a great one. Both teams try to make openings. We will go for it, for sure.
"On paper it looks as if it will be a great game for everybody."
