Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says the success of Everton this season can act as inspiration.

"When you look at what Everton have done it is amazing and they have to be the gauge for us," Redknapp said. "They've had no strikers, lost big players to injury and yet they are in Europe again.

"I would love to get into Europe next season. We need two or three good players to push the teams at the top and the chairman knows that."
